Irvan Wicaksono joined ERIA in April 2025 as a Research Associate at the ERIA School of Government.
Prior to joining ERIA, Irvan worked at a joint venture between a Japanese and an Indonesian state-owned company, where he contributed to interpretation and translation, brand strategy, and marketing analysis for housing developments under the National Urban Development Corporation. He has also served as a teaching fellow, assisting with lectures and providing academic guidance to undergraduate students in political science.

Education
Irvan holds a master’s degree in Integrated Sciences and Global Society from Kyushu University, awarded through a full scholarship from Monbukagakusho (MEXT), and a bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies from Universitas Indonesia.
