The ERIA Annual Report 2024 highlights the organisation’s strategic response to a year shaped by global uncertainty – including climate challenges, supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical tensions. In this context, ERIA concentrated its efforts on six key priorities: strengthening the supply chain for critical minerals and advancing the electric vehicle ecosystem; promoting decarbonisation and carbon neutrality; building the ASEAN digital community through digital economy initiatives, startup development, and innovation; advancing human resource development; enhancing public health; and supporting ASEAN-specific agendas. Major milestones include the establishment of the Asia Zero Emission Center and the ERIA School of Government, both aimed at fostering sustainable growth and policy leadership in ASEAN and East Asia. The report also underscores ERIA’s expanding role in supporting ASEAN priorities, deepening regional partnerships, and delivering policy-relevant research that promotes resilience, innovation, and inclusive economic integration.
